Charity Baptist Church was established in March of 2015. A small group of people met that first Sunday in a modest metal building, referred to as "the welding shop." From that day forward, God has greatly blessed the work here on Rabbit Street. Many lives have been changed through Bible preaching and that first meeting of 20 people has grown to a weekly average of 200 in early 2025. The church has persevered through humble beginnings, Covid distractions, and limited space. Each renovation and addition has filled up quickly and the church is constantly needing new space. This is a testament to the witness and outreach of God's people and our burden to see the lost reached for the Saviour. The church has recently purchased an additional five acres to the rear of the property and there is much excitement for what God has planned in the days ahead.
